The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 2018 was introduced on 6 Apr 2018.<br /> This approved code of practice s for anyone who is responsible for a domestic and commercial building being rented or used for businesses purposes. Any Companies or commercial property in which a commercial gas meter or even commercial gas appliance installed, is mandatory legally to possess a valid industrial and commercial gas safety certificate either a CP17 commercial gas installation certificate or non residential annual servicing report or A CP42 commercial catering gas certificate of all above. One should keep your gas certificate for two years according to regulation 36(3)(c) of the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998.
